Congratulations, Isaac! That was an epic journey, and it was a privilege to be able to follow along. I'm sure we didn't hear about all the negative moments, but it was refreshing to read what seems to be a pretty open and honest account of your travels and travails, as opposed to just the Instagram-able highlights. Thank you for taking us all along!
Delightful success. Congratulations! On the final day to the ocean, will you be able to cycle without panniers? Will you get a lift back to your lodging, or cycle both ways?
Way to go, Isaac! What an amazing adventure! Every evening we looked forward to your blog, sometimes with fear and trepidation, mostly with a good kind of excitement and always with interest. Was it culture shock to go from Route 50 across UT and NV to suburban/urban CA (although your 7/22 CA photos are all rural)? Now we're waiting with great anticipation to see you, Mike and the Pacific Ocean! Love, Ronna/Ellen
Wow! Congratulations! I couldn't do what you've done for the life of me. Also, Max and I completed what we refer to as the "Isaac Wilde Challenge" yesterday
Congratulations Isaac!! What an amazing accomplishment! Thank you for sharing your journey. The blog is precious: succinct gems of authenticity, adventure, humor, grit. A riveting blessing to read!!

ReplyDeleteQuite a culture shock! I had to get used to following directions again, and it was strange to have so many bountiful stores.
