Hooray for tacos, descending roads, beautiful landscapes, immense accomplishments, strength and health, movies, and sharing travel stories. Blessings to you on your final days of this adventure!
Wow! Sounds like an excellent time! Also, I've been wondering, when you were in Estes Park, did you pass by or see the hotel where "The Shining" was filmed?
It got to be an addictive vicarious adventure for Ellen and me. Each night we'd tune in on the Isaac "On the Road" show to find out what new obstacle or or new wonderment or new disaster might have happened. It was like watching a local athlete like Johny Kelley or Joan Benoit Samuelson trying to win the Boston .Marathon . (I once lived in a house owned by Johnny Kelley. His tales of the 1936 Olympics in Berlin were mesmerizing.) Congratulations. Ernie/Papa
I’ve loved your descriptions of finding joy in the seemingly small moments like free tacos as well as the connections you’ve made with kind souls along the way. And looking forward to the clean shaven photo and the tire in the Pacific Ocean photo.
Yay TACOS! And Watermelon! And clean shaven! And 2 more days! You got this, Go Isaac Go!
