Day 14

Elevation graph glitched, but it was all a gradual downhill. With the tailwind too, it almost felt like cheating! Just look at the moving time, 3 hours to go 55 miles is quite fast for me. To escape the rain, I wandered into this nature center. They were technically closed but one lady was still around and she let me drip dry on their carpet and look at their turtles. We chatted about the area and she reccomended me a bakery down the road. I just have to make a quick edit: I was sitting at a park table and a man drove past. I must have looked cold or something because he stopped, asked my name, and then reached back and handed me waterbottles and chips and juice, saying God had told him I needed something. In fact, I had just drunk the last of my water and was lamenting the mile I would have to bike to the nearest store. His name was Carlos.   Super flat rail trails the whole day -- thanks to the recommendation of Tracy, a guy I met yesterday. I kept stopping every 5 min to turn around and watch. Napped in this park for like an hour

Canal in the morning Nearly thirty miles today was on rail trail that looked like this, and tomorrow should be similar.  The Oberlin quad gives Tufts a run for its money. Unfortunately, the guy I know who goes here wasn't on campus at the time. This was the best meal I've had so far, second only to Mrs. Dorson's lasagna.
